Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher, basedinBengaluru. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for instructing middle school students with disabilities, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and implementing special education curriculum. Day-to-day tasks include assessing student abilities, tailoring lesson plans, and collaborating with other educators and stakeholders to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Special Education and working with students with Learning Disabilities
- Experience in Teaching and developing curriculum for pre School students
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Relevant certifications in Special Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
- Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting students with diverse needs
Required Skills:
- Languages: English, Kannada, and Hindi, with strong verbal and written communication skills in all three languages.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and children.
- Financial Management: Proficient in managing financial records, invoicing, and tracking payments.
- Excel Skills: Basic working knowledge of Microsoft office for course preparation, planning and execution.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules, maintain records, and pay attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred experience:
- Prior experience as special educator / Teaching is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
Qualifications
- Can be Graduate from any stream but preferably special educator course specialization
- Strong Written & Spoken Communication skills
